Marco Rubio is an American Republican politician who has served as the 72nd United States Secretary of State since January 2025. He previously represented Florida in the U.S. Senate from 2011 to 2025. In May 2025, he participated in an informal NATO foreign ministers' meeting in Turkey, where discussions included the Russia-Ukraine conflict and NATO's strength. He also holds multiple acting roles within the Trump administration, including acting National Security Advisor.
