Ísraelar is the Icelandic term for Israelis, referring to the people of Israel. While Iceland and Israel established diplomatic relations in 1948, Iceland has increasingly voiced criticism regarding Israel's actions in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, advocating for a two-state solution and the recognition of Palestine. There is an Iceland-Palestine Association that supports the Palestinian cause and has organized protests against Israeli actions.
