Tollgæslan, also known as Icelandic Customs, is the national customs and border control agency of Iceland. It is responsible for overseeing the import and export of goods, collecting customs duties and taxes, and enforcing various regulations related to security, environmental protection, consumer protection, intellectual property rights, and cultural and nature conservation. Tollgæslan also plays a significant role in combating illegal drug trafficking and other illicit imports, often collaborating with the police and the Icelandic Coast Guard.
