Lúxemborg, also known as Luxembourg, is a small, landlocked country in Western Europe that maintains close bilateral relations with Iceland. Both nations are members of NATO and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, and they established diplomatic relations on July 30, 1962. High-level visits between Icelandic and Luxembourgish officials have occurred regularly, with discussions often focusing on strengthening ties, economic cooperation, and shared European values. Luxembourg is also part of the Schengen Area, which includes Iceland, facilitating free movement between the countries.
