Halla Tómasdóttir is an Icelandic businesswoman and politician who has served as the President of Iceland since August 1, 2024. She is the seventh president of Iceland and the second woman to hold the position, following Vigdís Finnbogadóttir. Before her presidency, Tómasdóttir was known for her work as a public speaker and as the chief executive of The B Team, a global nonprofit focused on sustainable and ethical business practices. She also co-founded Auður Capital, an investment firm, and was a member of the founding team of Reykjavík University.
