Sölvi Geir Ottesen is an Icelandic former professional footballer and current manager for Víkingur Reykjavík, a prominent football club in Iceland. Born on February 18, 1984, he played as a center-back and earned 28 caps for the Iceland national football team. Ottesen is considered one of Iceland's most decorated professional footballers, having won multiple titles in Sweden, Denmark, China, and Thailand during his playing career. He took over as manager of Víkingur Reykjavík's men's team on January 20, 2025, after serving on the coaching staff.
