The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country in West Asia, located at the eastern end of the Arabian Peninsula. It is a federal semi-constitutional monarchy composed of seven emirates, with Abu Dhabi as its capital and Dubai as its largest city. The UAE maintains diplomatic relations with Iceland, and its leaders have sent congratulatory messages to Icelandic officials on their National Day. While there is no UAE embassy or consulate in Iceland, Icelandic citizens can travel to the UAE visa-free for up to 90 days.
