Napólí is the Icelandic name for Naples, a major city in Southern Italy. While not directly located in Iceland, it is referenced in Icelandic media, such as in a personal account where an individual felt they needed to leave Naples to come out as a gay woman before moving to Iceland. Flights are available between Naples and Reykjavík, with the most popular route being from Naples International Airport to Reykjavík Keflavík Airport. Naples is also home to the football club Napoli, which is covered by sports media, including in relation to its performance in Serie A.
