Tröllaskagi, also known as the Troll Peninsula, is a mountainous peninsula in northern Iceland, situated between the fjords of Eyjafjörður and Skagafjörður. It is notable for having the highest elevation in Iceland outside of the central highlands, with peaks exceeding 1,000 meters. The peninsula is a significant region for outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, and whale watching, and its dramatic landscapes have inspired local folklore.
