Hlíðarfjall is a prominent mountain and ski resort located approximately 6 km west of Akureyri in Eyjafjörður, Iceland. It is recognized as the second largest ski resort in Iceland and hosts northern Iceland's largest ski area, with its highest elevation ski lift reaching 1,014 meters. The resort is a significant winter sports destination, offering 24 ski runs, cross-country skiing trails, and a terrain park. In addition to winter activities, Hlíðarfjall is also used for mountain biking and hiking during the summer months.
