Staður

Súðavík is a fishing village and municipality located on the west coast of Álftafjörður in the Westfjords region of Iceland. It is notable for a devastating avalanche in 1995 that killed 14 people, leading to the relocation of part of the village to a safer area. Today, Súðavík's economy relies on fishing, fish processing, and tourism, and it is home to the Arctic Fox Centre.
